LAW & DISORDER

Lawlessness displayed so bold
that politicians trembled.
The mob is now so uncontrolled
they must be disassembled.

Heroes without capes 
rush bravely into the battle.
Protecting us without debate,
their nerves, they do not rattle.

Remember, they are human too,
with lives, families and friends.
Still, they stand as society’s glue,
until this madness ends.

It’s time to show our gratitude 
and to pray for them as well.
Politicians change your attitude 
or to your position say farewell.

Citizens expect an order,
of which police protect.
Politicians deserve no quarter
for their bevy of neglects.

So citizens please pull that lever
and  speak out with your vote.
Feckless pols we must now sever,
and clear out all this bloat!
